VOTING – OUR RESPONSIBILITY

A major problem in electing conservative and specifically prolife candidates is that voters who would be expected to vote for them, simply do not vote. Some estimates say that less than half of such voters actually vote. Many are not even registered to vote. If we want prolife candidates to be elected, we must vote for them and do all we can to convince our friends to do the same. Belief that each person is valuable and worthy of protection is an essential first step but without action on our part, it will do nothing to improve our society. We can make a difference but we must act.

We have two elections coming up. The primary election is Tuesday, August 11 and the General Fall election is Tuesday, November 3. The results will be hugely important for our lives in general and for Life issues in particular. All of us must vote. We must put our beliefs into action by voting. In general, early absentee voting starts two weeks before the election. Contact your local clerk and find out when voting will take place in your municipality. PLEASE – VOTE and encourage your friends and family to do so as well.
